SSSC78

I'm still trying to find my craetive mojo this week, but I came up with this beautiful bubbling Tilda for this weeks sweet sunday sketch challenge. I have coloured Tilda with my Stampin' write markers and used some crystal effects on the bubbles and some glitter on her wings. I turned this weeks sketch on its side, so it looks like Tilda is in a flower garden. i couldn't find a sentiment to go with it, so i have left the outside blank, but i know a perfect little princess fairy who will love this for her birthday.

my AnnaBelle flowers and gypsy sprinkles.

Hoot Hoot Hooray

A cute little party owl

a close up of googly eyed owl and his party balloon which i used crystal effects on and teh googly eyes i got from a $2 shop.

ABSC024 & JAI #22

This is my entry in this weeks Annabelle's sketch challenge. I have used the colours from this weeks Just Add Ink challenge. They were Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White, Tempting Turquoise and Kiwi Kiss. I started off with the sketch and then when it came time to stamp the image i couldn't shake this adorable frog from my head, thanks to my gorgeous little girl Breanna and her new craze "Princess Tiana from Disney's new movie, A princess and a frog". i think in less than 24 hours the movie has been on about 5 times.
Thank you for looking, and I hope you all have a great day.

And here is a close up view.

and here is the sketch challenge from Annabelle's

Method
Stamps - Whimsical words, A flower for all seasons
Ink - Rich razzleberry, Staz on black
Paper - Rich razzleberry, Whisper white, Tempting turquoise, Kiwi kiss
Accessories - Stampin' write markers, blender pen, quickie glue pen, annabelle's pearls

A little behind

Here is a card i did a few weeks ago. things have been a tad busy here lately and sadly it has been my cards that have been put aside, but hopefully that will change now and i will be able to get back into it. I did this card using some of my new Annabelle products. I can't say enough how much i love the sprinkles from AnnaBelles.

Here is a close up of my card

And finally this is the whole reason why i have been a tad slack in the card department. this beautiful cake was for my Daughter, Breanna's 4th birthday on Saturday. it painstakingly took me 2 weeks to make all the roses by hand, But well worth it in the end. Princess Breanna had a wonderful day.

Beautiful Blog Award

Awwww My dear friend Lee has gifted me with this wonderful award. I don't really understand how it all works (I'm a bit of a blog novice :S) but from what I can gather I need to gift it to 10 inspiring bloggers and also share 10 different unknowns about myself.

so here goes....

1. I met my darling husband 11 years ago when i was 18 when he was the milkman at the service station i worked at. Yes i know "i married the milkman!" lol
2. My real first name is Kristin-Lee, but i hate it so i only go by Kristin. sorry mum, but i really do hate it.
3. I am actually a new south Welshmen, hehehe but I consider myself a converted Queenslander now since I have been living in the sunshine state for 27 years.
4. I HATE the cold! give me the sun, the sand and surf and i am as happy as a pig in mud.
5. My all time favourite lolly is a Wizz Fizz.
6. As well as being a stay at home mum to my 2 beautiful Children, I also work 23hours a week in a service station and I am an AVON Representative to fund my ever growing stamp collection.
7. I failed home economics at high school, yet I love baking now, and I do consider myself a pretty good baker at that.
8. One day I would love to do a bakers apprenticeship, or follow in my Nanna's footsteps and do cake decorating.
9. I really don't like shopping of any kind.
10. Before Ashley and I got married we climbed Mt Warning (northern NSW) at 2am, yes AM so we could get to the top to see the sunrise. It was absolutely beautiful, but OMGosh I dont know if I could ever do it again. It is such a hard climb.

now to bestow this award to 10 Bloggers who inspire me

1. Lee
2. Chantelle
3. Andrea
4. Jo Hooper
5. Fiona
6. Kirsty
7. Amanda
8. Danielle

A New Beginning

This is the start of a new beginning for me. I am hoping that by starting this Blog that I will be able to build on my skills and be able to share it along the way. I love blog-hopping other stampers blogs and getting ideas. I want to thank my wonderful Friend Lee for the support in doing this and helping me with my cards and supplies along the way. if it wasn't for her I probably would have given up long ago, but instead I am loving it. we may be on different sides of the country but with the help of the internet you have become a very dear friend.
